SeraPOS does not continuously track your precise location unless a feature specifically requires it and the applicable permission has been granted.
1.8 Biometric Authentication
SeraPOS may support biometric authentication, such as fingerprint or facial recognition, for app lock and app unlock functionality. SeraPOS does not collect, store, upload, or transmit your actual biometric information to our servers. Biometric authentication is handled exclusively by your device's operating system.

3. Notifications and Updates
SeraPOS may send notifications to your device or registered communication channels for purposes such as account notifications, security alerts, login notifications, service updates, application updates, subscription notifications, and important system notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
4. Cloud Services and Data Synchronization
SeraPOS uses secure cloud infrastructure and cloud database services to store, synchronize, process, and protect your account and business information. Cloud synchronization allows you to access your business information from supported devices and platforms securely over HTTPS / TLS.
5. Local and Offline Data
SeraPOS supports offline functionality storing data locally on your device in SQLite. Local data automatically synchronizes with cloud services when internet connectivity becomes available. Users are encouraged to maintain appropriate backups of important business information.
6. Third-Party Services
SeraPOS uses trusted third-party service providers to operate, maintain, secure, and improve certain parts of the Service (Cloud hosting, Cloud database, FCM Push Notification, Email/SMS Gateways, Payment Processors, and Analytics).
7. Data Sharing
SeraPOS does NOT sell your personal information or Business Data for monetary gain. We share data only with infrastructure providers operating under strict data privacy obligations or when required by law.
8. Legal Requirements
We may access, preserve, use, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful government requests, protect user safety, or prevent fraud and security threats.
9. Data Security
We enforce technical and organizational security controls including bank-grade HTTPS/TLS 256-bit encryption in transit, encrypted SQLite storage locally, and strict database access controls (`business_uid`) to protect your data.
10. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records.
11. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your SeraPOS account. Account deletion will purge your personal and store transaction data from active servers permanently.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you have rights to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information and manage notification preferences.
13. Customer and Supplier Data Responsibility
If you enter information about customers or suppliers into SeraPOS, you are responsible for ensuring that your collection and storage of that information complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
14. Children's Privacy
SeraPOS is designed primarily for business use and is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.
15. Cookies and Similar Technologies
SeraPOS web applications use cookies and local storage to maintain session states, remember preferences, and enhance application security.
16. Analytics and Diagnostic Information
SeraPOS collects anonymized diagnostic logs, crash reports, and performance parameters to troubleshoot errors and optimize system stability.
17. Payment Information
Payment transactions for subscription packages are processed through verified third-party payment gateways. Sensitive card credentials are handled directly by payment processors.
18. SMS and Email
Where enabled, SMS and email services process recipient phone numbers and message content for business receipts, ledgers, and notifications.

Your information may be processed or stored on secure cloud servers with appropriate legal safeguards and encryption applied.

You retain full legal ownership of the Business Data that you submit to SeraPOS.
